Record Labels: MJJ Productions Inc. & Epic Records. Niceties by: www.youtube.com Synopsis! The HIStory World Tour was the third and final world concert tour by Michael Jackson as a solo artist, covering Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and Hawaii from September 7, 1996 to October 15, 1997. The tour, which grossed a total of $163.5 million, included a total of 82 concerts with a record-breaking attendance of 4500000 fans. “Live in Munich: HIStory Germany Tour” Jackson planned upon filming this concert for a DVD release by Christmas time, so more camera angles (including individual crowd shots) were used, and the audio was later remastered heavily to emphasize the percussion and audience sounds. This concert was also an early experiment by Jackson with High Definition cameras. The release was ultimately cancelled; due to Jackson’s dissatisfaction of the behind-the-scenes filming . However, the performance was televised extensively in many different countries, making it one of the most readily available concerts. The most common version is the one aired by Sat.1 and most other channels, but other versions, such as the one that aired in South Africa (with a small segment from a concert at Johannesburg), and a Japanese version also …

Here’s a little treat for you all! I will be uploading the COMPLETE Sydney 1986 concert on Youtube. Due to Youtube’s generous lift of the time limit, I have divided the concert in two separate videos: One video is part 1 of the concert (the band), and the second video is part 2 of the concert (with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra). Also, in the future, I will upload the concert with just the audio (if you don’t want to “watch” the concert). The video quality is pretty good, and I remastered the sound (EQ’ing and turning it from mono to stereo). The concert is epic: With over three hours of music, awesome showmanship, excellent musical performances, and Elton having a blast, this concert ranks highly among Elton John fans, and is generally considered one of Elton’s best concerts! The only negative? Elton’s voice is COMPLETELY FUCKING SHOT! The whole first part of the concert has him in terrible voice, and his vocal nodules cause him to inadvertently hit whistle notes, and hit as many as 20 notes at the same time (vocal nodules emit frequencies when struck). Some of Elton’s worst-ever vocal performances are in the first part of the show. By the second part, his voice does improve slightly, and the roughness actually works on some songs (“The King Must Die,” “Take Me To The Pilot,” and “Your Song” are examples). Since the videos are so long, I will provide the set-list, and time-stamp every song: 0:00 = Cheering 1:30 = Sixty Years On 6:19 = Elton’s Introduction To Part 2 6 …

Well! Here is a gig I’ve been contemplating for a long time whether to upload or not. Obviously, I have decided to, and I bring you: Sydney 2002! I dedicate this to Adam and Greg, who are two great people! (Adam, I hope this description is OK!) This is a fantastic concert, recorded at the Sydney Entertainment Centre on April 29th, 2002. Elton performed 114 concerts in 2002, 11 in Australia, on his ‘Journey through Time’ tour. This is an excellent concert, in Soundboard quality and I think it’s complete! Funeral/Bennie is a great show opener, followed by Someone Saved, which sounds very nice in my opinion. The set list continues with I’m Still Standing and some other ‘Golden Oldies’. One of my all time favourites, Sacrifice, is included and is performed wonderfully. Elton performs songs from his newest album, ‘Songs from the West Coast’, including ‘I Want Love’ and ‘Original Sin’. I’m not a big fan of his albums of the 21st century, so I won’t make a comment! And to end the set, is the most performed of Elton’s Songs, ‘Your Song’? All in all this is a fantastic concert, and I hope you enjoy and comment!
